You know, I was sitting here thinking of TGW's rather strange storylines, and I realized where they've come from: My daughter, Teresa.
You see, I used to tell her bedtime stories, about a little girl who was a lot like her. But instead of the typical stuff, like a Princess named Teresa who was rescued from a fire-breathing dragon by a knight in shining armor and lived happily ever after, she was...
A little peasant girl who befriended a dragon.
One day, the dragon was attacked by a clueless knight who wanted to impress a selfish, spoiled princess by bringing her it's head. Teresa helped the dragon defeat the knight, and the two of them had many interesting adventures after that, making many friends among the social outcasts and talking animals along the way.
I feel like I'm still sitting on the edge of her bed, creating new chapters.
My Teresa would have grown up to be a strange young lady.
